Item Description
First is 4.5" tall with brass hanger which has "Participant" cello insert. Minor crease line across the fabric which joins to the collet of a button with back paper by Brunt, San Francisco. Button front is designed as an admission ticket and dated for Feb. 20, 1915. Tiny mark near bottom is a little excess gold ink as printed. Reverse has tiny 1/8" cello split by the collet but very trivial. Second item is 4.25" tall with brass hanger bar holding celluloid reading "Good-Bye!" Ribbon gives the closing date and beautiful celluloid below has event name plus a key inscribed "Admit One" along with a fashionably dressed woman waving her kerchief in a final salute to the exposition. Reverse has same back paper as the first. These are the photo examples from Collectible Pin-Back Buttons 1896-1986. They come with Hake's COA.
