Item Description
1.25" with fixed horizontal bar pin and paper naming NYC maker Pioneer. Front rim has her name and her billing title as "The Girl In Blue." This real photo button is appropriately blue-toned showing her posing with hand by cheek wearing fancy dress that allows one bare shoulder to be revealed and wearing gigantic hat. She was also known as the 'Queen Of All Dancers' with some of her fame resulting from her tossing her garter to the audience and occasionally forgetting to wear her tights. General surface wear only on the closest inspection in reflected light. Button displays Mint. A rare and historic button from the Vaudeville era. See next related item.
