Item Description
Each is 1" tall or 1" dia. First with octagonal shape and die-cut brass Mickey at center reads around the perimeter "Odeon Mickey Mouse Club." This is from a theatre and marked on the back by the Birmingham, England maker W.O. Lewis. Some faint vertical hairline scuffs on the brass forming Mickey's body but barely showing. Next are a pair that appear identical but they are by two different English makers. Back of the first has about 45% silver luster with the rest a dark brass tone and bottom text naming "Roden/London." These were issued by the children's weekly newspaper titled "Mickey Mouse Weekly" on the front lower enamel panel and with text above giving the club name "Mickey Mouse Chums." Mickey retains about 95% silver luster on his face. Enamel is perfect. Second, again with luster off the back, has back text naming maker "J.R. Gaunt/London." Same text on the front. Luster off his lower cheek at right but about 80% remaining overall. On nearly all examples of these the silver luster is totally gone so the degree remaining both these pieces is quite exceptional.
