Item Description
The second ring in our photo is silvered brass although with most silvering gone and the piece a muted brass tone. This was issued in 1941 by American Specialty Co. of Lancaster, Pa. for selling seed packs or Christmas cards. Other than luster loss and light tarnish the ring remains Exc. The first ring in our photo is of the same design but this was issued c.1950, issuer unknown. This ring is of silvery aluminum while the top has a brassy finish over his raised portrait. A little brass luster is gone and with some minor bends on the lower prongs but still displays VF. Last is the ring sold on a store card in the 1950s. He called it his "Horseshoe Nail Ring For Good Luck." The bent nail carries his facsimile signature on its outer lower band. It also includes small "Flying-A" emblem. Mint.
