Item Description
Mailer is 4.5x8". Some tiny tears and creases on the narrow reverse sealing flap with tiny bit of age and two staple holes showing on the front but overall extremely clean. It contains 3.25x5.5" tri-fold folder which opens to 5.5x9.5". On front panel Tom says "Welcome To My Straight Shooters." Upon opening this is a letter addressed "Dear Straight Shooter" and signed "Your Pal, Tom Mix/Chief Of The Ralston Straight Shooters." Folder opens again to reveal silver on brass 2-1/8" tall "Straight Shooter" badge accented by beautiful blue, red and silver foil diamond shaped Ralston and "TM" logo. Badge is NM. Below the badge on the folder are instructions on how to become a "Wrangler" and receive the badge which is pictured. See following lot for two varieties of this scarce badge. Folder has only a few small traces of wear including raised pinpoint dot on Tom's cheek on the front panel. Rarely seen complete as sent.
