Item Description
1-1/8" black on cream litho reads "Journal-Transcript Funnies Club Tune In WMBD." Issued by Peoria Illinois newspaper and radio with 15 different known for various comic strip characters. Tarzan is one of rarest and certainly most valuable in the set. Top has 1/8" paint line off "Funnies" and .25" hairline off extreme edge above that. Far left faint trace of paint rub barely seen. About 95% of paint is Exc. Also see buttons from this set #1115-1116. Our last in similar condition exceeded $1,200.00. Rare.
