This Kellogg's premium ring is from 1948 and there were two versions. This version is adjustable metal ring with bright silver luster base. Top holds a spring-loaded black plastic jet plane. The jet's wings read "Curtiss/F-87." With the jet mounted on the ring top a small lever is depressed and it launches into space. Certainly on the scarce side as many of these jet planes soared into the unknown. This is an essentially Mint example. With it are three items picturing the version with brass base and silver metal jet plane. Instruction folder is 4x4" open. One newspaper ad is 8x11" and the other 7x10.5". Lightly tanned margins but all paper items are Exc.
