Item Description
This 1" button has faint age tone on the background but retains full color and gloss with striking depiction of a black leopard's head with club name and below sponsor name "Skinner's Raisin-Bran." This product bills itself as "America's First Raisin Bran" and was introduced in 1926. This seems to be the only program they sponsored. The radio show was produced in California in the 1930s but apparently seeing syndication only in the Midwest on Mutual network. The Black Flame Of The Amazon program dramatized the adventures of explorer Harold Noice in the jungles of South America. Other sponsors of the syndicated show included Mayrose meats and Hi-Speed gasoline. An extreme rarity circa mid to late 1930s.
