Item Description
This ring is loose but it came on a 4x6.5" card sealed in a blister bubble. The base is brass luster with adjustable bands. The top has stylized, raised letter "H" mounted on a red metal oval which swivels to one side to reveal a very small and shallow secret compartment. Around the sides and interior of the letter "H" is some brown residue and beneath the oval cover on the upper edge is a tiny trace of transparent glue. The letter "H" will glow faintly in the dark after 30 seconds of light exposure. The original card carried the text "Cleinman & Sons. ©1962 Trans-Lux Television Corporation." Ring is based on the title character from the animated series based loosely on the mythological character of Hercules. It debuted on TV in 1963 and ran until 1966 coinciding with the sword and sandal genre of films popular at the time. The ring has unbent brass bands and near full brass luster remaining. Even with the slight bit of brown residue on the top it still displays extremely Well. Both of our carded examples exceeded $600.00. A scarce ring.
