Item Description
High quality 39.5" tall Gibson LG-2 acoustic guitar produced in 1953. Mother-of-pearl inlays on neck and marbled pick guard. Guitar has had professional restoration that includes new Brazilian Rosewood bridge, bridge plate, compensated bone saddle, guitar has been re-buttoned and tuners have been oiled, seven loose braces have been re-glued, finish has been cleaned and guitar now has professional set-up. This has all been done w/the utmost care by Stringed Instrument Repair of Stewartstown, PA. to bring this guitar back to its original playing condition. Guitar has some scattered play wear to front of body but remains very bright and glossy and as restored, now displays VF/Exc. Guitar comes w/carry case and shoulder strap. Wonderful 1950s Gibson guitar.
