Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 9" long tin litho, friction-powered car made in Japan by Yonezawa, 1961. Toy features plated grille and bumpers (w/"Cadillac" license plate), working windshield wipers that move back and forth as car progresses. Tin litho interior and Cadillac hubcaps. Friction mechanism works well, as do wipers. Scattered small paint nicks/scratches w/some aging to interior by back window. Hood has .25" streak of lt. oxidation to raised corner. VF. Box shows moderate wear w/box bottom having heavily creased sides and lid having small puncture and 2" tear to side panel. VG. Scarce as boxed.
