Item Description
Pair of metal lunchboxes. First is "NFL" box by Universal, 1962. Front panel features helmet designs of teams then in the American Conference and back panel features helmet designs of teams then in the National Conference. This is the first NFL lunchbox issued, w/others (in different styles) following in 1975, 1976 and 1978. Scattered rim wear w/a few hairline scratches on front/back panels and aging to metal latch. VF. Second is "Washington Redskins" box by Okay Industries, 1970. Front/back panels repeat Redskins football helmet, as does included thermos. Slightest trace of rim wear but o/w bright, glossy and NM. 8" tall metal thermos w/plastic cap has some small spots of oxidation on main helmet image. Fine/VF.
