Item Description
15.5" tall stuffed plush body doll w/stuffed soft vinyl head and felt boots/belt/cape and wire armature. Commonwealth Toy and Novelty Co. Inc. ©1966 National Periodical Publications Inc. This same company also produced a Robin doll in a similar style, using the Superman head w/an applied felt mask. Superman's "S" chest emblem has been applied upside-down and is factory error. Scattered lt. aging to body and boots w/left foot having wire armature poking out of tip. Head has some lt. wear to painted hair, but doll still displays VF. Scarce.
