Pair of BLBs, both versions of Whitman #1124, ©1934 Stephen Slesinger, Inc. BLBs feature alternating text pages and single panel pictures. Author/artist Hal Forrest (Gaylord DuBois pseudonym). First is regular file copy BLB version. Scattered corner tip wear/color rubs still a high quality VF/NM example. Second is rare premium softcover version w/"Tailspin Tommy" title stamped on first and last blank pages. Scattered edge/corner tip wear. Cover is Fine, but pages are aged and VF overall. Rare.
