Item Description
Large 18" long tin litho free-wheeling bus by J. Chein & Co. 1928. Sides are marked "Royal Blue Line - Coast To Coast Service." Tin litho tires are each marked "Hercules Balloon Corp." along w/"35x6" and "U.S.A." designations. Small Chein company mark on passenger door. License plate on front is marked "License 1K-10-30." Back features repeated license plate and "Pass On Left" and "Danger" text arrows on back end of bus. Movable steering wheel. Bus has scattered all over paint wear in the form of small nicks/scratches and roof has some lt. concave denting/aging. Fine overall. Scarce.
