Item Description
Elaborate tin litho car w/detailed tin litho interior including dimensional tin litho driver/passenger. Made in Japan by Marusan Toys/Kosuge, c. 1952. Car has manually-operated front end (one wheel a bit loose but still firmly attached). Battery-operated functions include - forward motion w/searchlight on roof and loud siren, All functions are working. Separate rear license plate reads "PD-1" as this company also made a police and taxi version of this car, interchanging parts when needed. Thin plastic windshield and back window (w/slight warp at right). Plated grille/bumpers/window frames/accents pieces and hood ornament w/all but back bumper showing aging/oxidation. Still Fine overall.
