Item Description
3.25x5" die-cut cardstock folder produced by The Advertisers Service Division Inc. ©Fawcett Publications Inc. c. 1944. Magic picture folder opens to length of 13" w/text on one side reading "Find The Hero Of Heroes Captain Marvel Without Tearing, Bending Or Ripping The Seal - Can You Help Billy Batson?" Panels include different images of Billy Batson including two of him in front of a "WHIZ" radio microphone. Object was to fold the card using the die-cut flap in a manner in which a completed image of Captain Marvel would appear. Folder has scattered aging, w/aged tape strip at one edge. Center strip has been cut. Fine overall. 1.5" dia. clear plastic frame w/loop at top w/generic brass key chain. Frame holds paper picturing Captain Marvel, Billy Batson and large lightning bolt design on one side, other side reads "This Certifies The Holder Of This Key Ring Is A Bonafide Member Of The Captain Marvel Club." 1946. Exc. Both premiums are scarce.
