Item Description
Lot of four cast iron locomotives from floor train sets in different size varieties. Made by various companies (Hubley, Kenton, Ives, etc.), c. late 1800s to 1920. Two smaller locomotives have attached tenders (coal cars) and measure 5" and 6" long. Smallest has moderate paint wear w/scattered oxidation and is Fine. 6" has lt. scattered paint wear w/some trace oxidation but is o/w VF. Both larger locomotives each have moving side rails and both are missing bell inserts from bell holder frames. Smaller of the two measures 8.5" long and has 1888 patent date and shows scattered paint wear and oxidation. Largest measures 10" long and has figure of waving engineer cast in cabin windows. More moderate scattered paint wear and trace oxidation. Both are Fine overall.
