Item Description
Lot of four painted cast iron horse-drawn wagons by Kenton, each c. 1950s. Sizes vary from 9.5" to 15" long. Two smaller wagons (one w/one stationary horse, one w/two) each have raised "Sand & Gravel" text on sides of wagons and have same nickel-plated figural cast iron driver. Each has latch that allows bottom to open to empty contents. Single horse driver has some lt. oxidation and is Fine while two-horse driver has moderate oxidation and is VG. Horses and wagons show some lt. wear/aging and are VF overall. 15" long express wagon has scattered paint wear/aging w/some trace oxidation. Figural painted cast iron driver still holds original string reins. Fine overall. Other 15" long wagon has raised "Sand & Gravel" text on sides and features latch that allows bottom to open to empty contents. Figural painted cast iron driver still holds original string reins. Exc.
