9x11.5" textured paper folder contains 49-page manuscript/outline for the 1958 theatrical feature based on the popular "The Lone Ranger" TV series starring Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels, who both reprised their roles from the TV series. Front cover has sticker label w/handwritten "'Lone Ranger' Lost City Of Gold" title and names of writers R. Schaefer and E. Freiwald. Folder is aged and shows some scattered handling wear. Pages have some scattered edge wear and back of last page has handwritten editorial notes in pencil. Fine/VF overall. Comes w/glossy 8x10" publicity photo w/great image of Clayton Moore as the Lone Ranger, a man sneaking up on him on rooftop above. Back of photo has attached credit sheet for the film, w/Moore's name checked in red pencil. 1" area of staining at center from glue used to attach sheet, but this does not affect front of photo, which has curl and is VF/Exc. From the estate of "The Lone Ranger And The Lost City Of Gold" co-writer Eric Freiwald and comes w/signed LOA by him, stating that to the best of his knowledge, this manuscript is the only final draft outline that remains.
