Item Description
Photograph album has 55 Sunday pages neatly mounted on album pages one per side w/cellophane tape or glue at extreme blank corner tips. Each printed page has 9x13.75” image area as published by the New York Herald Tribune Syndicate. Dates are June 7, 1959-June 26, 1960; only missing May 31 (the first strip) and Jan. 10 for a consecutive run. Strips have a few small edge tears here and there, but lot is Fine/VF overall. Comes w/10.75x14” cardboard sign w/ profile cartoon of Whistler’s Mother laughing at Sunday page. Large text reads “New! Poor Richard’s Almanac Every Sunday Inquirer Rotocomics”. Lt. overall aging w/a few small creases at corner tips. Fine. Roth did humor work for Harvey Kurtzman’s Trump, Humbug, Help and has done numerous covers for TV Guide, Esquire as well as cartoons for Playboy, Punch, and National Lampoon, winning numerous awards over the years. An instant collection.
