Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5.5" long nickel-plated cast iron gun w/separate hand crank to be inserted into gun body and then rapidly turned, firing roll caps w/machine gun effect. 1938. Hinged door on side of gun body opens to reveal cap chamber. Kilgore's circle "K" logo appears on each side, along w/raised "Ra-Ta-Ta-Tat" text. Gun is w/o trigger as designed. Crank no longer works and gun shows moderate use w/scattered wear and lt. oxidation to/around cap chamber door. Fine/VF. Box has printed/illustrated loading instructions on back and is missing one inner flap. Scattered handling wear w/1" tear to side panel. Fine. Rare boxed and first we've offered as such in our 48 years.
