Item Description
3.5x3.5x4.5" tall Art Deco-designed .25" thick frosted glass base has three-dimensional painted cast metal top depicting the iconic Trylon and Perisphere buildings. Tiny 1/8" hole as cast at base of Perisphere. Raised "N.Y.W.F." license number on base of Trylon. Front/back sides of glass base have two different decals showing features of the Fair, including - "Federal Area" and "Horticultural Exhibit." Federal decal has a few small flakes, largest measuring 1/8". Lamp lights but original cord should be replaced due to some fraying of fabric covering at plug. VF overall. Rare and first we've offered of this style. These lamps typically are found w/o Trylon and Perisphere top.
