Item Description
20” dia. and 19” tall. Interior has flexible metal stretcher and holder for a candle. These were typically strung together to light early political rallies. Has 8 panels 4 with images of Cleveland or Thurman and the rest contain patriotic designs. Several small punctures worst of which is a pair of 1" intersecting tears on one of the Cleveland panels. This flaw has been repaired on reverse with tape and does not effect image. An impressive and iconic display item, from the late 19th century. Fine/VF. Julie Powell Collection.
