16x17.25x2.5" deep illustrated cardboard box designed like a frame w/lift-out center panel that shows man about to draw his pistol from holster like the one included in box. 1960s. Set features 11" long chrome-plated die-cast "Shootin' Shell .45" gun w/plastic stag grips, "Dura-Hide" plastic belt and holster measuring 9" deep w/leather tassels attached. Set also includes factory-sealed bags of "6 Cartridges - 24 Bullet Noses" for use w/"Greenie Stik-M-Caps." 3.75x9-7/8" full color "Shootin' Shell Target" shows man reaching for gun as he exits saloon. Set appears complete and guns are unfired and NM. Packaging is aged and shows some corner tip wear. Insert shows moderate wear at die-cut area where gun was stored. Fine-VF overall. Rare set.
