Item Description
Mugs are 4" tall and pitcher is 7.25" tall by 10" handle to spout with a smiling "Chin-Up" caricature of FDR in high relief. Bottom is marked "Stangl." Mugs include FDR, John Nance Garner, Alfred E. Smith, Albert Ritchie (Gov. Maryland), James Farley (Postmaster General), Newton Baker (a former Secretary of War) and William Gibbs McAdoo (a former Secretary of the Treasury). All back panels reads "Happy Days Are Here Again". 1.5" hairline just to the right of Ritchie caricature. Farley has faint chip at end of nose otherwise all faces display Exc/NM. Complete sets are unusual to find and this is a high grade example. Julie Powell Collection.
