Item Description
Lot of nine 11x14" lobby cards, including one from MGM film's original 1942 release and set of eight from the film's 1948 re-release. "Tarzan's New York Adventure" was the sixth film to star Johnny Weismuller as Tarzan. Original release card shows Tarzan in suit, about to swing from tall building on rope. Pinholes at corners and at top/bottom center. Main image remains clean and card could be framed for a VF display. 1948 re-release set features Weismuller on six of the eight cards, including repeated use of image from original release. Additionally, Maureen O'Sullivan is pictured as Jane on five cards and Johnny Sheffield is seen as Boy on one card. Varying degrees of aging/wear w/scattered pinholes at corners/along margins and some scattered spots of moisture along bottom margin of one card. Fine-VF overall.
