6x9". 1945. This book was printed privately by the Kennedy family as a remembrance to Joseph Kennedy who died in combat during WWII. The book was only distributed to family and close associates. Scarce second printing denoted by title page printed in black ink as opposed to a mix of red and black in the first. While this is a second printing it is scarcer than the first. This run, of approximately 250, was done for Robert Kennedy and hand distributed by him. Illustrated throughout with photos, letters, and other imagery. Original burgundy cloth with gilt lettering remains NM. Rare.
