Item Description
11x14" thin cardboard sign has 7.5x10.25" cover image area at left for "Feature Funnies" #1 (Oct. 1937). Art depicts referee asking Joe Palooka to go to a neutral corner and Joe answers "If Youse'll Tell Me What Nootril Means." Left side of cover shows characters Mickey Finn, Lala Palooza, The Bungle Family and Jane Arden. Text at right lists 11 characters/titles in comic. Sign has scattered handling wear w/some corner creasing, bottom right has small spot of color touch-up that blends nicely. Fine. Historic and rare.
