Lot of six lobby cards for the original release of the 1950 Republic 15-Chapter film serial which starred Kirk Alyn in the titular role of Superman (and Clark Kent), Noel Neill as Lois Lane and Lyle Talbot as Lex Luthor/The Atom Man. Four cards measure 11x14" while two have been trimmed to 10-5/8x13.5". Single card for Chapter 1, "Superman Flies Again" features Superman lifting man w/gun. Corner tip/margin wear w/scattered small tears. Fine overall, but image area remains clean. Two cards for Chapter 3, "Ablaze In The Sky!," one card featuring Clark Kent standing over unconscious men, the other showing Clark Kent in car w/Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. First card has some lt. corner foxing but is o/w VF while second card has been trimmed and has 1.5" long strips of tape staining at left/right center margins (though not infringing into image area). Card was once mounted to black paper and has much remnants on reverse, resulting in slight rippling of card. VG. Three cards for Chapter 4, "Superman Meets Atom Man!," one card featuring Lois Lane w/Atom Man, one card featuring Lex Luthor w/magnifying glass while the other shows Lex Luthor w/newspaper. First card has been trimmed and has 1.5" long strips of tape staining at left/right center margins (though not infringing into image area). VG. Second card has pin holes at corners and corner creases. "Chapter 4" text has surface paper wear as piece of tape appears to have once covered it. Fine. Last card has pin holes at corners (larger holes at top corners) and corner wear. "Chapter 4" text also has surface paper wear from tape. Fine.
