Item Description
2.5" issued prior to January 28, 1986 loss of seven astronauts. Shows Christa McAuliffe in NASA uniform. From competition among 10,000 teachers, she was selected to be first teacher in space. Two pinpoint indents catch reflected light but essentially mint as made.
