Item Description
Matching pair of solid plaster figural bookends, each 3x5x7.25" tall. Back of each has incised Disney copyright and is marked "U.S.A." 1950s. Donald is depicted w/books slung over his shoulder, grass base is in metallic green. Head of one has been re-glued w/color touch-up under bill although repair is only noticeable upon close inspection. This one also has a number of small surface flakes from edges of grass, other has just a few scattered grass flakes. Both are still bright and glossy and display VF. Scarce set. This is the actual example shown in the "Official Price Guide to Disney Collectibles" by Ted Hake.
