Item Description
First is 8-3/8x10-7/8" paper certificate of membership in the "Weather-Bird Air Corps Of The Jimmie Allen Flying Club" issued by Weather-Bird Shoes. Certificate features Weather-Bird logo, images of two airplanes and photo image of Jimmie Allen. Vertical fold at center. Inked name on provided line. Fine overall. Second is 7-7/8x10-3/8" certificate promoting "Flying Cadet" to "Squadron Commander." Canadian issue by British-American Oil. Jimmie Allen flying wing at top center is backed by Canadian Maple leaf. Horizontal and two vertical creases as folded, left margin having additional creasing. Certificate has member's inked name and date. VG/Fine. Both are rare.
