Item Description
30x41.75". Designed at Shanghai First Printing Factory by Cao You Wei and Meng Guang and published by Shanghai People's Art Publishing House in 1966. Features African American figure leading an anti-war demonstration in Washington D.C. with marchers carrying signs including "Stop Johnson's War", "We Must Not Fight Our Brothers" and "US Get Out Of Vietnam". Text translates to "Resolutely Support The American People's Opposition To The US Imperialist Invasion of Vietnam". One vertical and three horizontal folds with minor wear at junctions. Few scattered edge tears all smaller than 1/4" and could easily be matted out if framed. Exc./NM. Rare.
