Item Description
18" tall sweater w/image of Hopalong Cassidy on front, mountains and cactus designs on sleeves. Topper appears on back in front of corral w/mountains in bkg. c. 1950. No label o/w Exc. Comes w/pair of black denim jeans, 27.5" tall w/five buttons on front having incised "Hopalong Cassidy" name. Back pockets have white stitched outline of steerhead and matching steerhead metal buttons. Bluebell and size 5 on inside tag. Comes w/4.5x5-3/8" store card w/perforations at top. Card has photo of William Boyd as Hoppy petting Topper. Text on back promotes Bluebell Inc. "Hoppys" Western pants. c. 1950. Jeans are slightly faded, most noticeable on fronts of legs and some trace oxidation to steerhead buttons but still VF. Card has a few lt. handling creases, lt. dust soiling on back but Fine.
