Item Description
1.25" beautiful crisp black and white reads "Winners Eat Ward's - Billy Conn Eats Tip-Top Bread." He was world light heavyweight (7-13-39) and gave up title to fight Joe Louis for heavyweight title in 1941. He lost then and again - post war - in 1946. Button is likely 1939 and first we've seen. Light surface wear with pair of pinpoint holes in cello at lower left, all nearly invisible without magnification. Displays N. Mint.
