Item Description
Sizes are 7/8” to 1”. Group begins with “Lone Scout” button and names “Chief Totem (the founder) W.D. Boyce.” Boyce founded the group because he did not think rural boys could find enough other boys to form a troop. The group operated between 1915 and 1924 when it did merge with the Boy Scouts Of America. Second item is one of the groups brass badges naming the rank of “First Degree.” The remaining items are circa late 1940s. One is an “Official Scout Salesman” for the official magazine “Boys’ Life.” The six remaining buttons show young boys of various scouting ranks. Some of these have a back paper from Offset Gravure. These six pieces are essentially Mint. Also see rare Baden-Powell Boy Scout movie serial button in our movie section.
