Item Description
27" long cork pop rifle w/wooden stock, which has "Gene Autry" name spelled out w/rope lasso design on right side as well as "West Hollywood Craft Shop" maker's name. 1950s. Plastic barrel w/wooden grip slides and rifle is designed so that change in air pressure within barrel causes cork (attached at end w/string) to exit barrel w/loud pop noise. These rifles were sold as souvenirs at rodeos and shows where Autry performed. Scattered aging w/1.25" scratch and .5" dent to stock. VF.
