Item Description
First is 2.75” mirror titled “The Allies.” Silvering is darkened with 15% flaked off. Celluloid remains Exc. Second is 2.25” mirror showing flags of “Our Allies.” Center text from a Dancing Master in Cleveland. A single diagonal air streak shows a little in reflected light. Stain on reverse by the collet but none seen from the front. Last is 3.5” heavy paper weight mirror with real photo sepia portrait of Washington captioned at left “Born February 22, 1732.” Panel below has text “This Space For Customer’s Advertising Message.” Almost certainly issued for his 1932 Bi-Centennial celebration. A rare sample and first we’ve seen. 97% silvering.
