Item Description
Smallest item is 3/8” with most buttons being 1.25” and ribbons varying between 3” and 6”. Group begins with a lapel stud with clothing button below it. Each of these carrying a 1919 patent date and showing the emblem in brass and enamel of the “American Legion.” First three rows all related to American Legion. Some of these carry dates from 1938 or earlier. In row 1, #5 is fabric covered. Fourth row all related to Veterans Of Foreign Wars. In bottom row ribbons relate to Spanish-American War Vets 1907 reunion, 1933 Ladies of the GAR ribbon, 1939 GAR National Encampment ribbon, 1937 Daughters of the American Revolution Conference ribbon, and last is 1950 for convention “Military Order Of The Purple Heart.” Vast majority of items are NM to Mint.
