Item Description
Buttons are 5/8” to 2.5”. In the group are 30 buttons, three tabs, one cello flip on stickpin, one silver colored medallion with Victory symbol (although figure is not a Minute Man but rather a figure holding a basketball) and one brass badge reading “Member Minute Men And Women” with serial number on reverse “10378” and name of maker Evans, Phila. A few items in row 1 predate WWII with dated items from 1936 and 1937 Portland Cement Association. First has tiny age mark at top. Many of the items in rows 2-4 name specific companies including: Bausch & Lomb Optical Co., Bastian Bros., Boston & Maine Railroad, various bond clubs, Dime Savings Bank, RKO, Waukesha Motor and various others. The last six items in the group are post WWII. These include an Eisenhower campaign tab from “Michigan Minute Man.” Tiny wear on a couple but vast majority are NM displaying Mint.
