Item Description
Stiff thin cardboard 2-5/8” across in an octagonal shape. From the early 1900s depicting horse head within a horseshoe captioned “Everybody Rides.” Surrounding text “Steeplechase Race Course” with text below “Coney Island/Entrances: Surf Avenue And West End Of Bowery.” Reverse includes text “Admission Badge/Grand Stand” and tag has a tiny hole from being punched by a ticket taker. Very light trace of glue residue on the back which toned the paper at center, but no glue present other than the toned area. Extremely clean. Complete with original pink string tag. Rare.
