Item Description
1.25” with back paper by Adcraft, Chicago. Spring pin holds 2.25” ribbon with text at top “Do Not Detach.” Additional text “This Ribbon Good For Ride On Octopus/Beckman-Garety Shows.” This was a railroad carnival that operated 1931-1942. The button has great image of an octopus surrounded by its tentacles. Additional text on the button apparently relates to the maker of this carnival ride and reads “Eyerly Aircraft Corp./Salem-Oregon/Abner K. Kline/Representative.” Ribbon has small rectangular mark on bottom tip apparently from an old price sticker but otherwise both button and ribbon are NM and first we’ve seen.
