Item Description
Original 14.75x14.75x4" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid w/original die-cut cardboard insert contains leather and vinyl belt w/metal steerhead buckle. Vinyl portion of belt features frontier fort and Western images along w/"Walt Disney's Frontierland" name. Aged but Exc. overall. Belt comes w/4.75" long fringed leather holster w/"Walt Disney's Frontierland" strap and "Davy Crockett" name and crossed rifle design on pocket. Exc. Holster holds 7.25" long Hubley "Flintlock Jr." cap pistol w/amber swirl plastic stock/grip and scrolled metal work including barrel. Metal shows scattered aging as holstered over the years and spot of oxidation to metal rivet but is unfired. VF overall. 7" long hard plastic powder horn w/cap and vinyl strap is NM. Set comes w/rabbit fur "coonskin" cap which has 2" piece of tail broken off but here. VG/Fine. L.M. Eddy Manufacturing Co., Inc. Mid-1950s. Lid art features photo of Fess Parker and lid has slight ward warp w/scattered color rubs and edge/corner tip wear. Lid is free of corner splits but box bottom shows heavy wear w/heavy creases and splits. Fine overall.
