Lot of six original 8x10" glossy photos, two w/Shaw Artists Corporation, two w/Circle Artists Corp., one w/SAR Recording Artist and one w/International Talent Management, Inc. management info at lower right corners. c. late 1950s-early 1960s, four have inkstamp date on reverse. As noted below, performers include - early photo of one of Motown's greatest groups, Gordy Recording Artists The Temptations; The Valentinos (1963), a group of five brothers also known as The Womack Brothers, noted for launching the careers of Bobby and Cecil Womack; The Solitaires, best known for their 1957 hit "Walking Along"; The Stereos (1961), Doo-Wop group whose biggest hit was "I Really Love You"; The Marcels (1961), a group who turned popular composed songs into rock and roll ("Blue Moon" as an example) and Doo-Wop group The Shells (1961). Valentinos has "McGhee Studio" photographer mark while four others (including The Temptations) are marked "James. J. Kriegsman." Scattered lt. handling wear/aging w/some scattered corner tip wear.
