Item Description
3.5” with life preserver design and text in addition to the title “…Is Great!/The Word Is Out!” Button was issued shortly after the movie release December 12, 1972. This famous American action-adventure disaster film was produced by Irwin Allen. The ensemble cast included Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine and Shelley Winters who won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Button has small bump on bottom edge and traces of surface wear in reflected light but remains totally clean and glossy. Only example we’ve seen.
