Item Description
1947 General Mills premium with adjustable brass bands depicting a smoking lamp on each side over printed by the character initials “GH.” Ring top is a circular disk of glow-in-the-dark plastic and the interior of the compartment glows brightly. Small plastic pegs held the compartment to the brass ring base and at some point came loose but it has been reattached using some whitish epoxy that serves the purpose and shows very little and really not at all unless the ring is viewed from the underside. Brass top swivels to either side and has large detailed Hornet image surrounded by text “The Green Hornet.” Most luster is gone but otherwise clean brass finishes. Very good. Robert M. Overstreet Collection. Comes with Hake’s COA.
