Item Description
4.5x12” card from the Marshall Levin Collection. Buttons are 5/8” to 1.25”. Most buttons span the 1930s into the 1950s with only the last three in the bottom row more recent and of the 1960s era. All of the buttons refer in some way to dental health. Seven of them feature a cartoon image of a tooth and others include graphic that includes a toothbrush. A few are dated in the late 1920s. All are totally clean and glossy with vast majority NM to Mint. An outstanding collection on this subject which became important in the public schools from the 1930s onward. Comes with Hake’s COA.
