Item Description
9x16.25x11" tall open cardboard display box remains mostly sealed as issued w/original shrink-wrap. Top open panel has had shrink-wrap removed to access included model kit display. Part of 1972 Revell contest to "Win An African Safari." Top has spot w/text indicating where entry blanks were to be attached. Display box has some warping due to tightness of shrink-wrap, which has moderate dust soiling. Fine overall. Display consisted of Revell Gorilla and Komodo Dragon model kits. Gorilla has been attached to unpainted green base (w/smaller green monkey figure attached) and has had eyes and teeth accents painted. Rest remains black plastic. Gorilla's left wrist has .25" piece broken out where once attached to back of Komodo Dragon's head and front right foot as assembled in battle scene. Scattered dust soiling. Fine/VF. Komodo Dragon has had claws painted, one broken off (but included). Back of head and front right foot have pieces of black plastic from Gorilla adhered. Fine/VF. Scarce store display.
