See previous item #1699. This is Vol. 1, No. 7, July 1933. Published by Kay Kamen. 5.25x7.25" w/16 pages, contents are in bw. Patriotic "The Spirit Of '76' - 'Independence Day'" theme cover w/Mickey Mouse and friends looking up at Archibald Willard's iconic "The Spirit of '76" image. Contents include "Sweet Dreams, Mickey's Mellerdrammer" and "Silly Symphony - Father Noah's Ark" stories w/film scenes as well as other illustrations and cartoons. Back cover ad features Mickey Mouse clothing available at O'Connor, Moffatt & Co. Scattered wear w/pinch creases to spine (which has 2" split at bottom) and lt. even aging. Cover has some lt. dust soiling and is VG overall while interior pages are Fine. We have only offered a few issues from this rare series over our 48 years.
